A NYC-based artist, designer and educator, Frances works in digital, print and experiential media.
She received an MFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in 2012 and a BA from Hampshire College in 2003. She is interested in value systems, feminist & critical pedagogies, and crossovers between teaching, learning, and design practice.
Formerly a designer and art director at Interbrand NY and experiential agency Sub Rosa, and a long time collaborator/designer with The New School, she currently runs a freelance practice in NYC, working with cultural, commercial and educational institutions. She has been a guest lecturer and critic at Princeton University and MICA and currently teaches graphic design at RISD and in Pratt's MFA Communications Design program.
